Project Experiences
My current Doctoral thesis involves integrating multiomics analyses of murine and non-human primate brain tissue in R and Python to investigate the genetic and biomechanistic factors underlying the longevity and health span extending benefits of caloric restriction

My Masters work involved the primary cell culture of murine mesenchymal stem cells extracted from zeugopodal bone, with a particular emphasis in discovering and characterizing downstream genetic targets of Hox genes

My Post-baccalaureate work involved investigating genetic regulators of allometric developmental growth, the complex patterns of growth which give rise to the diversity of body shapes and sizes we see in nature, using Drosophila melanogaster

As an undergraduate, my research involved investigating the assembly and regulation of chromatin in Drosophila melanogaster using P-element genetic construct reporters and dietary interventions to better understand gene expression and epigenetic inheritance
